Programming for Children’s Weekend Services (with Anne Terry)
How do you plan for the weekend?  In this session you will hear how we prepare for weekend programs at Saddleback; curriculum, activities, music and FUN!  From the loving arms of Nursery to the action-packed sixth grade, we will share creative and entertaining ways to teach kids about the Lord and keep them wanting to come back for more!

Developing a Children’s Ministry Team (with Cynthia Petty)
How do you see your ministry in a year? What about in five years? You need a team! From organization charts, to hiring the right staff and enlisting volunteers, we will share ways to structure, manage and care for your Children’s Ministry team!

Preparing the Next Generation Leader for Children’s Ministry (with David Robles)
The future of Children’s Ministry lies in the hands of the “Next Generation Leader.” It is crucial that the Next Generation Leader be affirmed, equipped and empowered in order to effectively minister to children. This session is an overview of how you can best develop Next Generation Leaders and better understand how to motivate these individuals as they serve under your leadership.

Bridging the Gap: How to Transition Kids to Jr. High Ministry (with Kurt Johnston)
Successfully transitioning pre-teens into the youth program is a challenge. One week they are in a room full of comfort and cookies and the next week they are in a room full of teenagers with facial hair! It is no wonder so many young teens fall through the cracks in Jr. High. This session will be an intimate time with Kurt Johnston, our Jr. High Pastor, and is chock-full of tips and tricks to help make a kid’s transition into the youth group a smooth one.

The Journey: Saddleback’s Discipleship Program (with Liza Gant)
Spiritual growth is a life-long journey! From Pre-Kindergarten – Grade 6, we will share ways you can help the children in your ministry begin their own journey toward spiritual growth. We will also highlight our new Kids Small Group curriculum, The Journey!
